It is a long gold flat link chain. It was a present from my husband when our first child was born 21 years ago and I never leave it off. Lost a really sentimental necklace on Sunday 18th January between Bachelors walk and Wellington Quay- it's a long-ish chain with a teardrop-shaped design. It has scaled points which kindof resemble icicles - it's not even worth much, just hugely sentimental because it belonged to my great-aunt. On sunday I lost a silver cigarette case, Thompson of Birmingham, hallmarked 1940. It was either lost in or soon after leaving a taxi in Irishtown. The case is rectangular and in art deco style, with a monogram "RH" on the top right-hand corner. Not hugely valuable or in great condition but belonged to my grandfather. Rewards offered.

Both were vintage rings. The wedding band has vd and ?b 1924 inscribed on it. The engagement ring is just your average vintage engagement ring with small diamonds in it. These rings were stolen from a house in Killiney last Friday.
