Lost my iPhone 4 in Limerick city, between Burger King in the city where I flagged down a taxi, and my front door in Raheen :-( It's possible it was dropped in taxi when paying the driver as a man who said he was a taxi driver called one of my contacts with my phone to say he had found it and to ask me to call it to arrange collection but the phone has been switched off ever since (and for some time before as I had tried it for a while). It's possible the battery went dead. The taxi driver that dropped me home that night was of Asian origin and was driving an old car, possibly Toyota Corolla or similar. The information on the phone is very important to me as I had not backed up the phone in a long time and there are many photos etc of sentimental value. If anyone has any information it would be great to hear from them. Thanks.

The phone was in a black case (which had a small chip on upper corner) and was in great condition. Normally you need a code to enter a code in it to access the phone. I lost my phone possiby in Buskers, Temple Bar but more likely left on the back seat of a Taxi which picked me and my 3 friends up on Grafton Street around 6pm Monday 6th Feb and ran us to Dublin Airport. The phone has a loose volume control held on with a bit of sellotape and when you switch the phone on it has a black & white picture of the Colosseum, Rome. The phone has over 400 photos and videos which have not been backed up so I am gutted I have lost the phone and may never see them again. I left my iphone in a taxi on the 18th December 2011 I cancelled sim with meteor on same day and contacted CPP the company that Meteor are advising customers to take out insurance. To this date meteor have not processed the information and forwarded it to CPP and so CPP cannot complete my claim. My advice to others is to seek another company to insure their phones. CPP are an english company and they told me that they have not jurisdication over when it comes to processing claims from meteor customers.
